S11 Masthead:
I picked this masthead as it connotes Sheffield by using the Sheffield postcode. S1-SXX are the beginnings of the Sheffield postcode so for that reason i believe it works as it is a local sheffield magazine. The red and white colour scheme is maintained throughout everything that i create as it connotes business like behaviour towards people.
The colour scheme i chose here for the initial page (front page) are Blue, Red, Yellow, Black and white. I chose these colours at they all contrast one another and hence work with each other. Although yellow is only used slightly. The Red, Black and white connote a working environment which follow the business style genre of the magazine. The Blue and Yellow colours connote a more playful tone for outside of work behaviour.
The colour scheme chose here is the contents page for my magazine. The colours here simply suggest a business environment which works well for a local magazine. The colours also suggest a more down to earth tone which most of our readers might have.
