Firstly i used the spot healing tool on the brick wall behind the model / subject. I removed big chips from the wall that may draw the readers attention away from the subject. The spot healing brush samples the near by area to guess what should be in the chips place.
Next i selected the shirt of the model, using the colour overlay to turn the shirt from a washed out blue into a nice blue colour. To prevent this from being overpowering, i lowered the opacity of the colour overlay to allow some of the washed out colouring back into the image. This gives it a more realistic effect.
Following the shirt editing, i selected the subjects head, using the refine edge tool to allow more of the hair into the selection zone. From here i applied a very low brown colour overlay which gave the model more of a tanned appearance. Luckily the model has brown eyes, so further editing to cut separate colours out was not needed.
Finally i selected the lips of the model, before the brown made their lips turn colour as well. To prevent this i overplayed their non-edited lips over the top of the brown layer, and then applied a very very small red tint to the original colour, making them stand out just a little bit more.

I firstly started off by selecting the models face. This was done using the pen tool to select a rough area of the models face. After this i then used the refine edge tool to select a better area. After this i then used the pen tool again to select out the models eyes, and used the subtract mode to remove them from the overall selection.
Finally i duplicated the selected region from the original image and then proceeded to apply a colour overlay of a light brown with a blend mode of colour and a lower opacity to give the model a more tanned look.

Firstly i begun by selecting the shirt of the model. I used the pen tool for this then used refine edge to select a better area. You can see the refine edge tool in the image above.
Once selected i used a colour overlay (as described earlier) to give the model more of a blue shirt, as i think this looks more professional look to both the final piece and the model. However when selecting the shirt using the above, the tie was included in the process. For this reason the tie also got a blue tint but this shouldn't be. I therefore used the pen tool to select the tie of the model and then copied the original black tie over the top of the blue layer.
I finally used the pen tool to select most of the models face, and did the same edit as before applying a small tan to the model.
Finally i increased the saturation of the overall image, and added text to show the article name. This used the same colour scheme as the house style.

Firstly i selected the patch tool from the healing panel. I used this to select the pole obstructing the image, then dragged left to replace this area with photoshops render of the sky behind it.
The patch tool left a slight edge to where it wouldn't work, so therefore i went in after using the spot healing brush to finish off the removal of the pole.

I started off editing the image using the auto tone function in Photoshop. This created an overall better brightness and hue/saturation.
I proceeded to then use the spot healing brush for its purpose of removing items like spots and/or other facial features that don't want to be there.
I then continued by selecting the models face using the pen tool...
...and used refine edge to select the models face a bit better.
Finally i added a colour overlay to the model to give him a bit of a tanned appearance.

To edit this photo i simply cropped the original image and then used auto tone to change the colouring.

This image was very simple to edit. All i did was crop the image then use the spot healing brush on the wall to remove some of the more visible sections of broken wall.

This image is similar one to earlier, so hence i will not need to show the same editing technique. To remove the pole i did the same as earlier. Following that i applied a hue saturation layer to the image which made the models clothes brighter. Finally i selected the background and applied a colour layer of grey to make the background more washed.
